Paul Penders is the third generation from the Penders family of Holland who ran successful salons. As early as 1900, Paul's grandmother created a formulation made from herbs called LevensESSENTIE™ (Dutch for "Essence of Life") which produced extraordinary results for her customers who desired healthy skin and glossy hair. 

 

Paul began to use this family-devised herbal extract in all his personal care products, from skincare to haircare and even to babycare because it delivered benefits to skin, body and hair naturally. 

 

The “Essence of Life” is now known as the patent pending LevensESSENTIE Gold™.

Paul Penders' patent pending LevensESSENTIE Gold™ now comprises the extract of 22 European, Chinese and Malaysian organic herbs such as angelica, arnica, calendula, chamomile, elderflower, ginger, ginseng root, honeysuckle, hops, horsetail, juniper, lavender, lemon balm, nettle, pegaga, peppermint, rosemary, sage, St John's wort, turmeric, witch hazel and yarrow.
